I was raised on a farm and ranch in north central Texas. I am well acquainted and comfortable with all sorts of animals. I had my own horse, cow and sheep as a teenager. We also had dogs, cats, chickens and goats on our place. I helped my daddy plow the fields, feed the cattle and round up the cattle on horseback once a year to "work" the calves (brand, dehorn, etc.). In my adulthood, I have owned Rottweilers (for 19 years), birds and fish. Currently, I have two cow dogs, a dove and a Beta. For the past 16 years in the Fort Collins area, I have housesat and petsat for friends, so I have good references.

You will enjoy doing business with me because I have lifelong experiences of caring for all kinds of animals. I enjoy animals and their individual personalities. Each of them is different and no two are alike. I am good at caring for animals and, usually, they like me. I am loving and kind towards animals, but I'm also firm and do not allow them to get away with anything when I know the boundaries and limitations set for them. I also very much care about your property, its maintenance and safety.

I "go the extra mile" when I'm able to do so. I attend to your animals and your home with the tender loving care that I have towards my own animals and home. That's what I personally would want in a homesitter or a petsitter for myself, so that is the type of service I provide.
